I would hope this year, but I don’t know yet. I only just finished the first draft a week or so ago, and now I’m diving into my first editing pass. About to begin my search for an agent for the first time too! I’ll be posting here regularly with updates on the process!

Beiro, unlike Adran, is a full elf, and though he shares in some of the princely burdens, he’s largely a free spirit and an untamable prankster. He’s a gifted swordsman, a talented archer, and somehow both reckless and a coward. What are some conflicting traits you love to give your characters?

Half elf, half human, Adran is the crowned prince of the Gaelahan Enclave. He’s a struggling sorcerer, a horrible swordsman, but a brave and loyal leader. Burdened by destiny and his father’s shadow, he has a long road ahead of him and much to reckon with.
