Awesome. Looking forward to it. I've read Station Eleven, and Sea of Tranquility was one of the books my husband, son, daughter, and I read last summer for our family book club and we all really enjoyed it.

Although I've been a fan of baseball since a child, I've only been a Blue Jays fan since about 2020. Reading Keegan's book provided me with some Jay's history. I actually went to one of his book signing events and bought my copy from him.

My favorite books this year, the ones I rated 5/5 were:

James by Percival Everett
The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See
In the Distance by Hernan Diaz
A Tale For The Time Being by Ruth Ozeki
A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry
The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury

I also read Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reed and All Fours by Miranda July. Atmosphere was all right but I much preferred Daisy Jones & the Six and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I really liked All Fours, rated it 4/5.

Reading over 130 books this year is extremely impressive! I am on book #33.

I've mostly read fiction. Only 2 non-fiction: The Franchise: Toronto Blue Jays-- A Curated History of the Jays by Keegan Matheson and the one I'm currently reading, Book of Lives by Margaret Atwood

My husband would hide in the basement when I hosted my book club. I'm surprised he didn't think of heading to the bar.

My husband and I also watched it last night. I don't remember much from the 1st one, but we both liked this new one a lot too.

Darn, I missed it! Would have liked to have seen Kirky run. Just got home and tuning in to watch the game.

Although you didn't ask me, I'll share 😊 The shoulder that received the vaccine was sore for about 5 days after, more sore than when I receive the flu and covid shots. I also felt very fatigued. I had to take a nap, and I very rarely do so.

Very good reasons to get the Shingles vaccine. I kept putting it off but finally received the first one in early August.
