This is a fundamental issue; the involvement of American oil companies is akin to neo-colonialism or an infringement on national sovereignty. The most important thing is that it must be based on a mechanism of mutual benefit, rather than appearing as a "predator".

I agree. The only one who can save us is ourselves, so I think it's even more important to stay united. A single branch may be easily broken, but when all the branches are tied together, it is not so easy to break them
