Even though I may be physically far from Latin America and Peru, through my research and initiatives like this, I remain close: with my country and the region always on my mind and in my heart. ❤️

I also had the opportunity to put Peru on the agenda by presenting my doctoral research, and I received very enriching comments and support from my colleagues at Maxwell. 🇵🇪💡

In a department and school where a minority of academics focus their studies on Latin America, it felt important to create a space to share our projects, provide feedback, and support one another along the way.
