Somebody please document the good work the National Guard can do in response to the severe flooding disaster in Washington State. We need to change the narrative and highlight how amazing these service members can be when not being forced to deploy in US cities.

We outnumber them. We, the people on the ground doing the work that requires our First Amendment rights to be upheld. Professors, librarians, writers, artists, musicians, activists - it is our job to make folks uncomfortable, make people think, inspire, and change the status quo.
