Found a new way to get a door-to-door salesperson to leave quickly. "This is an Airbnb, I don't live here." It was true this time, I have no reason to buy solar here, but a good strategy to remember all the time.

I'm realizing lately that one of my biggest pet peeves is bad public communication from organizations of all kinds. Especially organizations that you know have hired communications professionals and still put out foolishness. And it's so freaking common that I'm frustrated by this all the time.

You know what this 2025 needed to make it interesting? Waking up to frozen pipes. I sure won't take water for granted anytime soon.
