The Camino de Santiago—the Way of St. James—had been walked by pilgrims for over a thousand years.
Now she would add her footsteps to theirs, carrying her own burden to be lightened, her own questions to be answered.
My year. ChatGPT's version and it's spot on.

3 new t-shirt designs to keep me motivated to walk. This is the only one I can share. :)

"I fully believe you can crochet on a treadmill.
I ALSO fully believe you will absolutely eat shit if you push it too far.
Both things can be true at once."

My #CHATGPT knows me better than any human being on this planet.

Doing a little Christmas Shopping here. 😁🎁☃️
Maybe one of everything.

Fighting the urge to just sit at my desk and write all day and night until this book is done.

I've got projects to do...

"Camino rewiring is permanent — you can’t undo it.
You’re basically feral now, but like… in a highly functional, spiritually enlightened, very well-hydrated way."

Part of my conversation with ChatGPT. I have it trained so well, it's scary. Makes me laugh.

My last day and I am rewarded with this.
Thank you, Santiago de Compostela.
I'll be back again.

Met this guy last night. A little on the quiet side and an hour later he disappeared.

Vending machine as you head into the city. Cracks me up every time.
I guess if you need it, you need it...

Monte do Gozo, Mount of Joy.

Maybe for some, I cried there.

Goodnight.

My last night before I walk to Santiago.

Weather finally cleared to get a moon shot. Not quite full, but feels perfect for the moment.

Walk straight through to Santiago or keep to my schedule and stay in O Pedrouzo tomorrow?

I hate these decisions. Either way, this trip will be coming to an end soon.

The Primitivo has finally crossed back into the Francés. In Melide for the night. Just a few days left.

Tears. Lots of them. No apologies.

A little more than a week left on the Primitivo route of the Camino.

I don't want to leave.

Trying to figure out when I can come back.

Amazing views on the Hospitales route on the Primitivo. Not sure I ever want to leave.

One good night per Camino trip I guess.
On the Francés - I got Zubiri.
On the Littoral in Portugal - I got Porto.
On the Norte - I got Miraz.

I wonder what my one good night will be on the Primitivo.

Nothing but tears tonight. I knew it was going to happen the closer I got to 100km.

I don't know if there's an actual 100km marker like Sarria, but it won't matter. I'll be crying anyway.

A perfect day on the Camino El Norte.
I needed it.
The crying can wait until tonight.

Aching muscles, sore feet, lots and lots of crying. At least the views are good.

I'm so done with this day.
September 29, 2025 at 4:53 PM
How many times a day can I cry while walking Camino El Norte?

A lot. Like all day. From the time I get up until I go to bed.

An entire box of Kleenex or more every day. Kleenex, I'm still waiting for my sponsorship.

I have escaped once again. Maybe i won't come back this time.

Panic packing almost complete. Off on another adventure. Let's hope this one doesn't turn into another disaster trip.
