With this artfully framed evening scene bathed in crimson hues, one senses the forest animals quickly scurrying to their posts, be they foraging for food in their favorite prized places, or settling down for their evening slumber.

I love the reflections of trees in the still dark waters, the birch, with its autumnal glow and side-lit by the sun, the delicate grasses in the foreground - what a peaceful spot to restore oneself.

This looks just like a soothing, incredibly beautiful woods I would frequently hike in 13-15 years ago in Maryland. Was this taken in Maryland? I realize there must be many similar scenes….

What a lovely shot!…The brilliant tree, the focal point with the reflected flame of autumnal colors with the deep green shadows of the trees, framed by the sentinel mountains in the background and the dark waters in mid ground fronted by the soft white of water- wow!
