A surprisingly fun exercise: I went on Chat GPT to test the results on street vendors & food sovereignty, to try to understand what might come up and if it supported our views. The results were...actually kinda great? Which means there is enough content out there about this to feed the algorithm

If you search for "street vendors" on TikTok, you will find a plethora of videos of at least one creator giving huge amount of cash to vendors & watching them cry of happiness. It is truly poverty porn on another level.

Street 👏 vendors 👏 are workers 👏 not 👏 a 👏 charity👏 case

In 2024, I wanted to explore reading more women shorts stories writers and one of the best discoveries was this book by Korean author Pak Kyongni, to the point I actually ordered the hard copy from Honford Star with this gorgeous cover ❤️ 2025 will be a good year if I find another treasure as this!
