hoe kan het dan dat er geen een motie is aangenomen? zelfs met NSC die voor een paar moties gestemd heeft. Dan lijkt toch de TK in meerderheid nog achter de 'regering' te staan?
Ik ben het wel eens dat we niet alles doen wat we kunnen doen en dus het internationaal recht schenden.

is dat zo? vroeger wel (voorkeur voor 'over rechts') maar volgens mij is dat momenteel niet mee zo duidelijk. VVD heeft behoorlijk wat rare sprongen gemaakt de afgelopen paar jaren en wordt dus veel minder als betrouwbare coalitiepartner gezien nu.

CDA noemt zichzelf een middenpartij. Als echte middenpartij zul je dus bij 'linkse' en 'rechtse' programma's aan moeten schuiven. Je probeert van beide flanken af te snoepen.

it is not an uncommon event. Oil/gas platforms also know the issue. I would also be cautious to indeed accept the operator's claim that it was 'unpredictable' and 'unique' etc etc. That is their best excuse of course for explaining an incident. (see Texas floods)

is anyone commenting on what is MISSING in the report? for example impact on most ecosystem services?
It seems a very limited selection of topics. Only commenting on that selection risks missing the bigger picture that is needed for good decision making.

I think it tells us that VOLUNTARY standards and target for radical and fast change are NOT going to work. We need to face up to that brutal fact and adjust our theories of change accordingly.

Was altijd wel een beetje naief om te denken dat je met VRIJWILLIGE standaarden bedrijven kon helpen/dwingen om grote en snelle emissiereducties te realiseren.
