There are so many factors that can make game development especially impractical for a solo game developer, and I think someone aspiring to write a creative work in a video game format might not even be able to. This is true to a varying extent with other formats too of course, - (1/2)

I can think of more examples of this in book form than in video game form, if I compare mediums. Even compared to shows/movies, etc. Conveying intention in a video game format is really its own canvas.

It's extremely flawed and also less fun if you take advantage of exploits, though there's so much I like about it that I keep coming back regardless.

I also don't think media can accurately be praised for supposedly "brave" narratives (e.g. Superman) while also appealing to liberals, white supremacists, etc.
