I strongly suspect the ballroom is just a cover for something nefarious. We should be asking what is going to be built underneath it. There's a reason so many Tech oligarchs are funding it.

If people are so ticked off about having to wait in line that they won't support the fight against fascism, they were never going to in the first place. Sure I'd be ticked off too but I'm way more ticked off about ICE.

BRILLIANT. I hope we can make this happen across the country. And that similar campaigns are mounted against every single company that in any way enables the Fascist regime. Mass economic and social disruption have a huge impact. Just ask Target.

To be clear; I'm not saying their relationship is analogous. I'm suggesting that those photos will age as well as one of a handshake w Hitler. The optics, (even now) aren't great. Tho ZM is obv.not pro-Trump, he's not distancing himself appropriately IMO. But I stand by the Trump/ Hitler analogy.

That's exactly why Trump invited him. And why Mamdani should have declined. It won't be long before those smiling photographs make him look, in hindsight, like Charles Lindbergh shaking Hitler's hand. The optics are terrible.
