I unlike speaker Johnson a bit more with every sound bite the media plays. A complete Trump toady. (No disrespect to toads.)

I can say without a doubt that I do not want any of my tax payments to the Federal government go to the felon President. He gamed the system to avoid trials and that should be payment enough. I'm tired of the constant grifting.

Thank you, Dr. Nirav Shah, for explaining so clearly the negatives of RFK's latest move to shut down mRNA vaccines. We DO need all the possible tools to fight whatever comes at us.

@booker.senate.gov I know NO ONE who is better off today than they were 71 days ago! Thank you for standing up for the common people of the United States.

It's a hoot that CNN lets us pretend there'll be a 2028 election. I can't foresee a scenario in which Trump is both alive and lets that happen.

If he passes from natural causes, I could see Trumpworld needing an election to replace Vance with a Trump.

You can see below who I think should be POTUS.

Elon and Trump basically shuttered The Institute of Museum and Library Services. Here's why that's a very bad idea:

Mail carriers already have too much to do! We are on a semi-rural route and often don't have our mail delivered until 4 or 5 pm. When I'm out and about early in the morning I see mail trucks jammed full of boxes (most with the old smile logo).
My latest @npr.org story: USPS mail carriers interviewing households for the #2030Census is part of a Trump administration pitch to take over the Postal Service, which Congress set up to be independent of the White House. I wrote about the legal and logistical hurdles, plus privatization fears
Postal workers conducting the census is part of a Trump pitch for a USPS takeover
The Trump administration has suggested bringing the U.S. Postal Service under White House control, and having mail carriers conduct the census. Here's what to know about the controversial ideas.

Five things I achieved last week: (sending to myself as I am retired so I am my own boss)

1. Shoveled the front walk.
2. Shoveled the back deck.
3. Purchased groceries.
4. Layered and pinned a runner and placemats for quilting.
5. Dusted the living room.

Once again, a fundamental reason why so many academics despise Trump, Vance, Musk & company is that we’ve all had our share of The Guy Who Didn’t Do The Reading But Demands to Be Heard
