This perch was a dud. The claws couldn’t get a grip on the metal rail. For some reason they had abandoned their perch in the paperbark gum.

What they needed was a decent pipe band. That would have jazzed them up.

Obviously that reporter hasn't had a colonoscopy as have many Australians over the age of 50 . When you wake up , it's a cup of tea and good-bye. The worst part is the pre-surgery drink.

If you are watching Optics on ABC, keep an eye out for the episode on airlines. The name of the airline in the programme is hilarious.

I'm in my 80s and haven't done anything like this for years and I'm so delighted it all came back and I solved it quite easily. I love Maths.

Family bought me an Apple watch, also registers shower falls. Also registers heart rate and will contact emergency and family (at night) if my heart rate falls below a set level and I don't move for 10 mins.

From Australia. I’m broken hearted. I’ve followed you through your walks for years, loving your descriptions of your stick collections and the wonderful furniture your staff made. You are so special and I’ll miss you.

I hand my 8 year old grandchild my phone so she can play a game (4 yrs+) and there they are -gambling ads. She can't get into them but they are there with flashing lights and exciting images. Nothing like some showy propaganda. This doesn't appear to get a mention in this discussion.
