Don’t apologize! This is too important. Wish I could join the resistance tomorrow, but we are waiting for our flight to UK for long-planned family visit. And, I am going to start using “sane-washing” more. Thank you.

“Craft beer’s obsession with hops has gone too far... Most taste like pine resin with a splash of grapefruit pith, and not in a good way.” Lol, that happened in the late 90s, early 2000s. Remember the IBU wars? He wants variety? There is much more IPA variety and interest in other styles now.

I just received notification from Covered CA that my premium will increase ~$400/month, plus I will lose my ~$600/month subsidy. So my HC cost will increase $1000/month total, from about $1200/month to $2200/month for the same plan.

Probably. A wonderful neighbor , and talented cook, often smoked a turkey for T-giving, and I just couldn’t love it. Too squishy and weird for my tastes. Yay for side dishes!

Thanks for highlighting that this mess all because of Texas! Its voters didn’t even have a voice. Those messages get lost in reports re: CA potential redistricting. How can the rest of the country pressure TX to not implement new maps?

Maybe not all products should be priced by market forces and greed. Life-saving cancer drugs come to mind. Access should not be limited to the rich. Signed, wife of cancer patient who has good insurance and drug access and wishes the same for all.
