My Fiber Artisans group challenge is Bright Side Dark Side this year. I have always been captivated by the night sky. There are 4 hidden constellations (one towards each corner) and tons of hand stitched stars.

Made this Sandhill sling bag from a pattern by Noodlehead. Added an extra pocket on the inside (keys/wallet/phone). Instructions were easy to follow ❤️ I will definitely make another with a wild print! #quiltsky #Noodlehead

Best art/craft thrift store find ever! And yes I know it wasn't made for scissors BUT it's perfect for my Guggenheins which are hella heavy and super sharp. I made the weighted pin cushion with chopped walnuts and a couple heavy coasters. The best part is the label from my daughter! #quiltsky

Best art/craft thrift store find ever! And yes I know it wasn't made for scissors BUT it's perfect for my Guggenheins which are hella heavy and super sharp. I made the weighted pin cushion with chopped walnuts and a couple heavy coasters. The best part is the label from my daughter! #quiltsky

My Great Grandmother moved from Germany to the U.S. with her parents when she was 10 years old.
This is a double pillow case that she made for her wedding night. It must have been used for a long time ❤️ I added the doily which I believe she created. Thanks to my cousin for passing these on..

Finished! My piece for the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show hexagon challenge. The bees bodies are needle felted wool and the wings are Algelina fibers fused together. PS I hate hexagons,always have and still do 😆🤣

My fav Levi's. BUT the pockets are ridiculous. About 2-3 inches deep. Good for nothing. I hate putting my phone in the back pocket so I added one for it on the front and sewed the useless ones shut with embroidery thread. She's got a lot of hand mending on her ❤️
