Just sharing that as of today i am officially retired after 60 years in the workforce, yes I started at 15 as an ‘office girl’. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a career that has allowed me to work for justice and healthy communities.

Good to hear Sarah Race, Labor candidate for Flinders talking about Labor’s achievements: Tax cuts for lower incomes, Real wages growth, Energy rebate, shared equity housing, 31 billion into housing, Fee free tafe, Strengthening Medicare etc etc. Sarah is a real local who knows her community.

for a good, easy read to understand the war against Palestinians, this is told through the eyes of a woman who was a child during the occupation of her land. Golda Meir, a woman I once admired, said of Palestinians ‘They did not exist’. But this book easily explains that they did.

Orange was the colour in Main St Mornington as women and men (and a few dogs) came together to say No more Violence, No more Silence, Stop Violence Against Women.
