Thanks, I do! I have it on Kindle, and I always forget that I own it 🙄 I need to stop buying crafting books digitally, thinking that I'm saving money. Time to find a second-hand paper edition. Plus, I learn better with text and pictures than with videos.

I recently "mastered" (🤥🙄) the tubular BO, but sadly, it doesn't work as well on 2/2 ribbing. You *can* do it after some extra work (basically transforming 2/2 into 1/1), but for me, it doesn't look as good. Or maybe I need more practice? Have you done it (and loved it) on 2/2?

That is indeed a solid option, and much less finicky to do than the Lori's. I don't dislike it, but I also don't find it very esthetically pleasing. For casting *on*, I have several options that I really like, and I just can't find one that I like as much for casting *off*

It shouldn't be too firm, but it doesn't need to be *very* stretchy. I don't knit garments with negative ease, so stretchiness isn't a key requirement. It should indeed look nice when not stretched.
