Retired MS cop Craig DeRouche assaulted this 74-year old woman who was protesting lack of due process. She's in the hospital. He's pressing charges. I took this pic of her a month ago, saying I wouldn't show her face. She was scared, but she kept protesting.

2 women out by the highway in blood red MS, 2 times a week. They say most people are glad they are there, honk, give them a thumbs up, bring them water, thank them. The only negatives: White men in big trucks yelling the C-word, the b-word. Say "get a job!" 1 is 70, the other is 64. 2 women.

The Zebra and the Bear documentary premieres at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Gulfport, MS Thursday, January 9 at 6 pm. Film screening followed by a Q&A with director PatrickO'Connor.
