A preliminary map of the liminal city, Mare Solatium, that I scribbled up in my spare time a while back. I made it so that when I'm doing backgrounds that feature outside areas I can attempt to make parts of the city one could possibly find on here. With color coded districts~

Using a new editor cause Atom is apparently a no go and no longer supported. I imagine it'll take a little getting used to but it's kinda nice seeing this ... weird little window off to one side. All that orange is just the narration/dialog for the next update btw~

The Philosopher. Also called The Sage in some decks. Represents not so much knowledge as insight: the ability to understand what you already know. Perspective, maybe. It can mean looking back on past trials with greater understanding, or meeting someone who offers new perspective on them.

I'm never going to draw the entirety of a motorcycle again if I can help it. But because I adore Malcolm I'm probably going to end up drawing a motorcycle again.

The Knight means strength that comes through a trial. The Knight endures and waits, out of devotion to those he protects. The Knight may also mean a Quest, some new venture to right wrongs or win glory. Like all cards it has its dark side: the Knight can mean being enslaved to and smothered by duty.

Ah, the Lover. Drawing this is a good omen! The Lover represents love, of course, pleasure and joy, even indulgence. The card may mean a person the cards speak of, the Literal Lover, the source or object of love. Those who draw the Lover often have heartbreak in their past and hope in their future.

The art for this one... I'm honestly the least proud of. Painting is hard. But I did learn a lot from doing it.

The story @robmacwolf.bsky.social wrote for it though is honestly one of my favorite bits of writing as it doesn't include the character it's about.
