As Rieu admitted, he always thought that Carol of the Bells was an American Christmas song. But Anna, one of the orchestra's soloists, told him that the song was originally a Ukrainian carol and suggested performing it, to which the conductor agreed.

Wow! This is both ridiculous and brilliant.

Kudos to Kyrylo (Budanov) as Ukraine's military intelligence managed to block the famed Trans-Siberian railway, which as is shown in the video, runs from Moscow to Vladivostok.
