I think the one setting that should be "honoured" (and the Framework may already do this) is light Vs dark scheme - like prefers-color-scheme on the web developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/W...

Yup, I see that argument - but if everything was priced at actual hardware value/cost, we'd be in a different world.
Going by what the Index and Quest Pro cost, I see 1000€ as a "valid" price point.

It's just all such a "Valve" package. I was genuinely awestruck about the entire presentation and polish this all has whilst feeling like it addresses what I would want in these products.

If I were to make it more difficult for me to do the laundry, I would not do it as regularly, because brain. So I rather get it over with than overthink it.

I've been using detergent pods for my washing for a good few years now. It's genuinely been a better experience for me than self-dosable powder or liquid. Needs way less thought on my end. Sometimes, I throw in two for "hard loads".
It's already an accomplishment if I do my laundry at all.
