"All video games should have"...

quick save and resume. it's fine if you have to like, store it from the start of a stage/room/whatever & even if you have it like the OG quick saves where it's a save and quit only & you can only have one.

i gotta handle shit sometimes though. adult life & all

RSing with alt because this definitely deserves to be accessible.

i sent this to my wife _so fast_ cause this is definitely my brand of bullshit lmao
November 5, 2025 at 5:53 PM

October 30, 2025 at 7:56 PM
RS with alt, because this is too cool to not be accessible
October 24, 2025 at 5:14 PM
that's a very spherical object that bounced away, not a canister. he was injured because that's a dense ball at a close range, but it's not a metal canister, which would have been much worse

a far more reasonable Bandcamp Friday this go round. I got sooo much shit last time though lol
September 6, 2025 at 12:08 AM
RS with alt (because the visually impaired should enjoy dunks on fash billionaires, too)

also i would and do. billionaires are murderers, every one. killing through pen and inflicted poverty is still killing. and specifically i wish ill on the mold queen, JK Rowling

i guess we should draft an official policy but like, it's pretty well known that this is my actual policy on AI on our team
August 1, 2025 at 3:46 PM
sometimes Magic is a really good game :D

real Heart of the Cards moment here

the song, More Than Ever by Evergrey, starting when it did was pure coincidence. Steam on Linux can't isolate system sounds and that's just what I had on lol
July 28, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Visual Studio has one goddamned job and increasingly it's not being an IDE, it's being a sales platform for fucking AI slop

this shit sucks. i gotta fight against this fucking app to write code that's not horseshit and it's also trying to sell me shit i don't want. i love tech in 2025
July 23, 2025 at 7:10 PM

July 1, 2025 at 4:40 PM
no, Nuclear Blast, I didn't fucking miss anything. That was an intentional opt-out, and not permission for you to fucking spam me like this you dipshits.

i swear to fucking christ is there any company out there that i don't want to burn down right now?

May 3, 2025 at 2:21 AM
maaaaaaaaaaagiiiiiicccc

I had some folks on my team start building out log analysis so that we would know wtf is going on in our systems (what good are logs when no one reads them), which uncovered some heinous API perf, which i then applied an index for, and bam, 3-4 orders of magnitude perf gains
April 22, 2025 at 7:19 PM
this is seriously breaking my brain lol

how the fuck is the canned beans, which takes more materials and processing, damned near HALF the cost of the dry beans!?

normally i buy cans cause lazy but...apparently that's the shrewd thing to do anyway? sure. whatever.

The section just before this is also wild. Thank you Michel Martin for not giving this bastard an inch
March 14, 2025 at 1:07 PM
I'm very thankful that I didn't get my wallet's ass beat as hard this time as the last, but still I got a hell of a haul here. The Delta was a great find (melodic modern prog with strong female vocals) and I was shocked by how much I liked the new Lacuna Coil (hadn't listened in ages).
