Seems like he is trying to seize control of Washington D.C. to stop crime. I call bullshit. I think this is being done to enable crime by the leadership in the WH.

The crisis remains entirely preventable. Deliberate blocking and delay of large-scale food, health, and humanitarian aid has cost many lives.

The corruption of the wh is blatant. He is obviously running a pay-to-play and enriching his pockets and those of his circle. Then there is the budget. When does it stop? How does it stop?

The actions of one country impact the world. The complicity of Republicans is unconscionable.

More people have died in Sudan than Ukraine and Gaza combined. More people are dying of thirst and malnutrition as a direct result of reduction in aid than before.

When President Obama was elected, I did not worry about alienating the country’s friends and allies and WH conflicts of interest b/c an intelligent and ethical leader was in place. Similar for President Biden. Today’s youth have not experienced that or were too young to remember. That concerns me.

Supporting Palestine and rights of Palestinians is totally ok, not an act if terrorism, and not anti-semitism. Freedom of Speech is something valued, cherished, and at least conceptuallg respected in this country. Authoritarian govt not welcome here!!

Each time they disregard judicial orders, ignores the constitution, acts in ways to circumvent law and lawyers brings us closer to authoritarian regime.

Now is the time to prevent the loss of democracy in the US.

It is my opinion that Republicans in Congress enabling the convicted felon leading their party along with his hand-picked side kick and cabinet are engaged in what seems to me like domestic terrorism. I do not know what else to call it at this time. Maybe later we will know it was treason.

For me, March madness has a new meaning in 2025 as Republicans - led by greedy, corrupt, duplicitous bullies - actively work to destroy the US as we know it.

What about the actions of the Republicans, their president and his side-kick is not a war against the United States and the people in it?

Cuts to food security programs, food safety, dept of ed and, of course, republicans ceding power for a couple of weeks is better than having to step up and vote in opposition to DT. I am sure if we follow the money, those profiting off the destruction of the US will reveal how to stop this.
