I won't have friends or family who are fascists, who are racists, who are misogynists, who are anti-LGBQ+, or who are xenophobic. I won't have friends who want to hurt my other friends.

Those prickly pear cactus have a way of taking over. They're invasive in places as far apart as South Africa, Kenya, Hawaii, and Australia.

When the Brooklyn Dodgers sent Jackie Robinson out on the field, other teams had to follow. They knew a team chosen from the best white players couldn’t compete with a team chosen from the best player regardless of race.

It works the same in science.

When I walk in a room, I don't have to prove I deserve to be there. Black men do. Most times, the edge I have over a Black man looking for the same opportunity is small, but it's ever-present, and over time, it acts like compounding interest. In the long term, the effects are huge.

I taught middle school for 35 years, and I don't believe there was a single year where at least a couple of my students weren't autistic. In my experience, the autistic kids are more empathetic that the average kid. The autistic kids try so hard to fit in, to meet our expectations.

To be fair to Elon, it wasn't us who did this, it was him. He did it to himself. He's the one who dropped his pants and started waving his dick at the world. All we did recoil in disgust.
