@robynhitchcock.bsky.social saw some, thankfully not quite, obsolete electric traction in Philadelphia today. On Girard Ave, just up the road from Johnny Brenda’s where you played with The Venus 3 in 2009.

@whatismusicpod.bsky.social I know you guys were lukewarm on Fables the record, but having just seen it performed live two nights in a row in Athens GA, it is a mother when played live. I urge you to go see Shannon/Narducy when they play it in the UK. Seeing R.E.M. play twice also was a bonus
