I am a software developer, a man with a beard, and generally a friendly and curious person.
I am also interested in vintage computers, chess, weight and functional training, electronics (& making stuff with 3d printing), and modular synthesizers.
It looks like an old Apple Power Mac G5 😂

You can do a lot by slamming the door or pressing buttons. All you need is a CV controlled actuator 💪

Sehr cool. Wäre schön, solche diy Workshops auch im Kölner Raum zu haben. Vielleicht in Kollaboration mit dem Kölner Makerspace Dingfabrik

Yes, there are a few free 3d models around for that 🙏

Hm, as it states, it's the feedback. Circuits aren't perfect, there's always noise and that gets amplified. Some filters also can do that, self-resonate without input.
Never tried it on my mixer tho :-)

Module O_C has an app called "Low-Rents" (=Lorenz) if you want to check out one of these dynamic systems, it's an Lorenz attractor.
I did my own implementation with an ESP32 to have more freedom for experimentation :-)

Yes, that one, thank you 🙏

i'm struggling to decide If having such a SID synth full of "clones" (ArmSid, Swancantremember) is it worth for me

Watched a lot of snooker when he was still active (until 2016). Him being a DJ and synth nerd was not on my bingo card

Steve Davies is still the coolest cat on the planet: now playing modular synthesizer for "The Utopia Strong". Their new album, "Doperider" is aces! Saw them live last month.

The MB6582 is the one with up to 8 Sid chips (or clones)? Did you buy a kit or ordered just a PCB?
