Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Hang on, is this that "Third Way" thing I kept hearing about?

Pedantry alert, but it's even more apt: Capt. Stillman doesn't direct fire over the training field, he demands the soldier fire his mortar immediately, dismissing the latter's concern that he lacks target coordinates.

And the actual, unsubsidized cost of generative output is...? What's the offset in time spent fact-checking results (although one suspects it's closer to zero than one would guess LBG is comfortable assessing)? Not to mention "drafting legal clauses"?! Jesus wept.

Ye gods I miss Kenneth Mars, paragon of comedic timing, 100% committed to even the smallest role.

I'd put Melvin first, though.

Thanks P-Flax, luckily the smoking crater I live in gets a little reflected heat from the inferno of a nearby federal building.

He didn't see it?? "Listen, I can hardly be expected to pay attention to EVERY major, unprecedented speech to government officials. When would I have time to catch up on Handmaid's Tale?"

It's beyond parody at this point, rapidly becoming a trope. (Also, first time I've seen CK as filter bypass euphemism. Good one.)

I'm no statistician, but it seems like it might skew the numbers slightly to have one column cover 9x longer (66 years) than the longest period of the others, not to mention ending its scope before the actual timeframe we're discussing.

One of the most astonishing revelations about governmental corruption for me was the shockingly low amounts so many politicians can be bought for.

Kelly's Heroes may have some jarring anachronisms, but so much heart and commitment from its stellar cast that it's still a top 5 favorite WWII movie from early adolescence. Savalas is so good he manages to keep Rickles & Sutherland from completely stealing their scenes together. Well, most of them.
