Does Stolarz performance combined with the dark coloured pads make him the coolest Goalie since Potvin?

Bat-Family or Titans would be cool or maybe Dick Grayson and Wally West being Roomates hosting a Christmas party would be fun I think

@adamwylde.bsky.social you know what to do. I think I speak for everyone while we do want to hear the Halifax stories I will take a full staged wrestling match of Adam V Steve reffed by Jesse any day of the week

Long season would rather him come back at 100% Florida isn’t doing well and would definitely go after him and make his first game back hell. Every game is important but bringing him in Saturday I think is the right move.

Just wanted to put my thoughts out there and give a review on this great book that I personally think every hockey fan should read! Overall 4.5/5 (the -.5 for making me relive the leafs memories) but rounded up on Goodreads to 5/5 because sports are fun and hockey is awesome.

But I’ve never done the real thing and it’s always felt like a little bit of a disconnect within the hockey world for me. Last year I wanted to do it and then anxiety prevailed but reading this book has really motivated and inspired me to go out and try my best to get started.

Because I don’t wanna too much on it and just hit the key points on what I took out of this book, Is the last chapter about actually playing hockey. Similarly to Steve I am a die hard, nuts and a little crazy leafs fan but I don’t even really know how to skate. I’ve played lots of ball hockey…

As a collector of pretty much anything I think is cool it felt almost like it was written directly for me when he spoke on people thinking your hobby is odd but who cares just do it for you. Ngl I went directly to eBay after reading that chapter. Lastly and skipping a bunch of other stuff…

Leafs lament as a leafs fan was like that weird nostalgia you feel every time it comes back to when you would to school, ah yes memories so fun to look back on being stressed out and upset. Also I’ve never felt more validated in my entire life than steve writing about his memorabilia…..

I’ve never been to a game because I live very far away from where they play and they’re very expensive but this book has me telling myself to grow up your not gonna afford a house anyway so why not go to Toronto and see the Maple Leafs play. (Chapter 3 of this book exists that’s why)

I read this mainly via audio book but I read the 1st chapter in the physical form. The biggest takeaway is how much Steve’s heart bleeds into every page it’s a real love letter to the game. Ch 1 had me making some wild financial decisions in my head, I’ve been a leafs fan for 24 years and…
