Deep into Nonna mode. This is paparedelle ripiene (a long stuffed fresh pasta that you roll into a lovely flower shape). Inside is housemade ricotta amped up with some exotic nutmeg and fresh mint. The sugo is a dense, long and slow-cooked marinara. The house smells swell. #freshpasta #pastaislife

I took this picture a year ago, from the balcony of a rented apartment in Tbilisi. The boys are cousins. They do not have smart phones, they have squirt guns instead. They call each others names out late at night and the other one calls back. Nika and Theo.
