Was it a patient? It could be a comfort thing. I like to call my therapists by their first names if they’re ok with it (although I typically ask first).

Thank you for doing this! It clearly meant so much to them. I‘m glad they are getting the appreciation they deserve; because regardless of how you feel about those wars, I wasn’t their fault.
