We are the University of Tennessee's internationally-acclaimed center for the study of the history and culture of the late antique, medieval, and early modern world, c.300-1700 CE.
Mallory was supervised by Dr. Anne-Helene Miller (Marco's Riggsby Director). She is currently a lecturer in French and Director of the French minor at ETSU. She was supported at her defense by all of her graduate student friends and colleagues from French program!

Our keynote will be delivered by Brent Seales (Kentucky), on his project using digital scanning and AI to virtually unwrap and decode the Herculaneum scrolls! The keynote is at 2pm on Saturday, April 26, and is also totally free!
