Today I learned that we have only 600 immigration judges in the entire country, to service all persons trying to enter the country legally. With thousands of pending cases, how are we to make legal entry possible?

Today I met a new neighbor. I told her that since the election, people of our society’s underbelly feel free to go public with their prejudices. Whether it’s misogyny, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, antisemitism, or any other hatred.

Those individuals that voted to put Trump in power will own responsibility for the consequences.
If only more of us would embrace our civic responsibility and regularly communicate with our elected officials, perhaps we can improve our governance.
