Spent a few hours making a BIG batch of chili tonight - ground turkey, beans (black, garbanzo, kidney), red potato, yam, corn, garlic, onion, beef stock, beer, red pepper, tomato (crushed, diced, paste), chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, crushed chilis, cayenne, s&p, cinnamon.

Hell yeah.

Going to see how loudly I can play Keith Jarrett's 'Concerts' #vinyl boxset before my neighbour upstairs complains.

So far, both sides of LP1 (Bregenz, May 28, 1981) is intense but beautiful.

Managed to get my hands on 'Nobody Lives Here' - the new SYML album this past weekend while at Something In The Water Brewing.

After only hearing him play a solo acoustic set at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, this album sounds great.

Waking up at noon after working several nights in a row means a late dinner: some homebrewed Belgian rye saison and a weird, possibly awesome, super twisted version of carbonara.

I am currently full of fantastic ramen after a meal with good friends at a local pop-up restaurant, and now reading 'American Gods' by @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com

Not a bad evening, I'd say.
