Could be a genius move to always play scissors until it’s something more consequential

I’ve been waiting here watching the slow trickle of people I used to follow on xitter move over
November 9, 2024 at 11:21 AM
Good to have you over here. I hope more people join

Yes, yes I did. My first reply

Because my problem was specifically with the misquote I’m not actually here to take a pro Israeli stance believe it or not. I actually care about honesty, no matter what your cause is, honesty is the best practice, and if you misquote something I’ll point it out weather Im ‘on your side’ or not

I haven’t deleted a comment. Looks like the author deleted their post to me but they also blocked me so
I wouldn’t know

I’m just responding to the words written in the post and the glaring misquote. Is that unreasonable?
January 23, 2024 at 2:48 PM
I’m a user that left twitter because it is mega toxic. I found this post because it cropped up on the discover feature of the app. I have no gripes with the author or the position they have on the crisis in Gaza. I saw a glaring misquote and it bothered my enough to point
It out, there’s my story
January 23, 2024 at 2:42 PM
I was just responding to what the actual words were in the post I just read and not some other point that I was not explicitly in the post
January 23, 2024 at 2:33 PM
It said ‘the deadliest attack on Israel’s forces’ which is true and a reasonable thing to point out. If they had said what you misquoted that would have genuinely been outrageous. But they didn’t, so I find this post to be highly disingenuous

I don’t hear you calling for the end of the ecological destruction of the planet
January 21, 2024 at 2:16 PM
Yep I don’t like genocide either. What’s your point? When did I defend genocide? I just think people should fire rockets at civilian ships. Is that mental?!
January 21, 2024 at 2:12 PM
We live in an amazing time where you could be accused of all kinds of inhumanity by a stranger on the internet just for being in favor of defending international shipping from violent attack. For the record I don’t like any of this violence, and I wish for peace for Yemenis and Palestinians
January 21, 2024 at 2:04 PM
Probably quite a lot, given the bloody conflict in Yemen that they are engaged in. But does it only pop up on your radar if it relates to Israel and Palestine?
January 21, 2024 at 1:09 PM
You don’t have to choose one or the other. It’s not a choice of defending international shipping from terrorists or caring about Palestinians. Also you seem to be deliberately understating it a bit with ‘disruption or maritime trade’. Actually people trying to kill civilian workers with explosives
January 21, 2024 at 1:04 PM
You misspelled ‘defend a major civilian shipping route from violent terrorists that have been engaged in a horrific civil war that has unleashed terrible civilian suffering in Yemen but I’ve only just noticed them and and fully support them because they happen to be pro Palestine’
January 21, 2024 at 9:12 AM
Attacking international shipping is exactly the kind of thing that legitimately calls for military intervention. You seem less outraged about the people attacking civilian ships than you are about the necessary military defense of those ships.
