Except they don't seem to be talking about lowering sentences... And if we just look at costs savings we ignore e.g. issues like the lack of diversity, on most measures including class, amongst magistrates and judges

It was evident that some parents are already starting to regard the replacement NHS provision with scepticism. The government offer of the new 'gender identity' services for trans kids seems to be regarded by many largely as offering only conversion therapy? (Ashley 2022.)
