Celtic, F1, Max Verstappen
The tifosi are absolutely loving Max ahead of the McLarens on the podium, especially Lando 😂 I can’t quite fathom a bunch of Italians turning up to cheer on Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton but getting fully behind Max Verstappen of all people instead, but I love it! #ItalianGP

All against a backdrop of the Celtic board having tens of millions sat gathering interest in the bank, seemingly unwilling to trust their manager to recruit with it, and seemingly unwilling to find players to spend the money on while guys like Kyogo left 8 months ago and still hasn’t been replaced.

One final reminder from back in the Twitter days - some of us were insisting this Celtic board needed removed and a competent recruitment model installed. As soon as Ange started to win games 3/4 years ago, most of the support told us to stop being negative and back the team. Here we are, again. 🙃

Maeda’s started the season horribly, and Adam Idah’s as horrible as he’s always been - never a Celtic striker even if we’d paid half what we did for him. We’re paper-thin on the wings and at full-back, as well as up top. This side’ll struggle even at Europa League level. The club reaps what it sows.

Brendan Rodgers and this Celtic side shouldn’t be exempt from some serious criticism - a manager unable to get a tune out of a bang-average looking squad over 3 and a half hours of football. Rodgers looks like he’s off next May and the squad looks absolutely threadbare in places.

As always. Still two or three better centre halves at the club than Scales but clearly the manager isn’t especially convinced by any of them for some reason.

Oh aye, by now he’d comfortably be on the bench or sat in the stands, if not out on loan in the Scottish Ch’ship/League of Ireland to find game time. The guy won the lottery with Celtic’s lack of recruitment a couple of years ago, then won it again with the contract extension.

He’s Irish though, so you can’t have a go, even though he should be 2 or 3 years into his Aberdeen career by now.
