I keep staring at this figure from the BC Real Estate Association. We have a ton of new housing supply under construction and about to hit the market just as we cut net immigration to near zero. Is Toronto's crashing condo market a preview of our future?

A couple figures on Canadian trade in light of the proposed Trump tariffs. Canada's overall trade has been fairly balanced in recent years, and was in deficit for more than a decade before 2020. Canada runs a large merchandise trade surplus with the US.

RIP John Horgan. A smart and charismatic "retail" politician who understood the challenges facing working people and the resource sector. One of BC's best-ever premiers and communicators. He will be missed. Condolences to Ellie and his family.
