The legacy collection has US, European, and Japan versions. EU and JP are the ones with the original damage amounts. In short, the US version is a lot more tedious to play. Idk why they decided to make a bad game even worse but whatever

Which region’s version are you playing?? The US version is pretty infamous for making every enemy take less damage from your shots

Yeah, I forgot about the thorn ring. I assume it’s just a failsafe since they are items you could not get back if you like sell them accidentally
