Tietasaura derbyiana is an elasmarian dinosaur, a medium to small-sized herbivore described from an incomplete femur found in the Marfim Formation, Bahia, Brazil. The fossil was discovered in 1906 during an expedition by the Natural History Museum of London near Salvador.

I still have a 2008 edition of a gamebook that the publisher I worked for brought to Brazil. I remember how impactful it was to see scientifically accurate dinosaurs in a children’s book at that time. Thank you so much for the influence your work has had on my journey!

A group of Josephoartigasia monesi, a gigantic rodent that lived during the Pliocene. I created this illustration for a study on the brain anatomy of this impressive species.

Paleoarte que fiz para ilustrar o artigo dos pesquisadores Leonardo Kerber e Tabata Klimeck da UFSM.
Os fósseis foram encontrados em Curitiba (PR) e estudos indicam que esse antigo tatu está relacionado aos Euphractinae, o mesmo grupo do tatu-peludo!
