There's always new equipment to buy. At this point, I have 4 FDM printers. Now I've ordered an IR laser to label prints. This is an expensive hobby. Yes, I know I could save money by doing less, but where's the fun in that? #3dprinting

Huh. Just had a set of hairy filament tangles. Things is, it was *inside* a newly installed refill spool from Bambu. I've caused tangles before. This one was not mine. #3dprinting

I swear, every once in a while one of my Bambu printers (X1C, P1S) seem to go out of their way to gash their build plates. In this case it was a P1S, model was sliced with Bambu Studio. I cannot make this happen on a repeat with the same .gcode. Are they doing it out of boredom? #3dprinting

Trying to find the right filament for fossil/bone prints. This one works pretty well -- Bambu Matte PLA, Desert Tan. (Makes me wonder if there's a "Desert Burn" color.) #3dprinting

Making fidgets in various pride flag colors (prideflags.org). This is the second round, and only a few of the flags I've printed. Almost a thousand of these were given away at Santa Cruz (Cali) Pride a few weeks ago. My design, and I did all the printing. #3dprinting #pride

In 3d printing, orientation matters. The end snapped off a spool roller. The solution was to redesign it, and print it in halves, for strength. (Not my model, but the solution is mine.) #3dprinting

How is nest building not tool use? A nest is definitely a tool to assist in brooding. We don't give birds enough credit.
