I’m quite confused about the legal phrase, “No later than…” I mean, is there wiggle room there? (Read: Would you or I get extra time to produce all the required files?)

Do you ever wish that you had been born without the empathy gene…so you could be happy, even gleeful to know that hard-working people in our country are going to be captured and sent away without due process? Yeah, me either. What a country! Happy “Independence” Day.

They're calling it “Alligator Alcatraz” but I'm worried that's it's actually “Alligator Auschwitz.” Is this really 2025 in the USA? What happened to “with freedom and justice for all?” #withfreedomandjusticeforall

We should all pay close attention to the goings-on at the FBI for the next few weeks. Regardless of the outcome (we continue to be a rules-based society or become an autocracy) it will definitely be recorded in the history books somewhere, even if not permitted to be mentioned in the USA.

Some thoughts from today: 1) I can unequivocally state that in my 41 years on the job I never once came to work drunk (even at night); and 2) Why do Louisiana and other red states receive disaster aid without “conditions” but California must have them, according to Mike Johnson and others? Baffling.
