My drums by Ben March - the one on the floor is vellum skin. It was my first drum. The skin produces a mellow sound which is easier on the ears during the learning phase! Also pictured is a cajon and a spinning wheel my ancestor brought to Canada from Ireland over 200 years ago. #bodhran

This is my bodhran from Blackwell Original Drums. It's an artificial skin drum and can fit a lot of different Evans heads. I have tried the Edge Control and the Calftone - both are great. These days, the Boddrum is the only one I play. #bodhran
