Little “Running Booze” from our newest record “Songs Inspired by Witness.” It’s the story of Iris Weaver who during Prohibiton ran the diner by day while at night she ran moonshine to all the speakeasies along the northern coast.

Today is “git your guitar out and play it” day. Source? Not naming. However, here’s a song about living in a small town and maybe it’s just where you need to be - performed at The Auditorium during the songwriter winning performance at the 77th Original Ozark Folk Festival in Eureka Spings, AR.

“Songs Inspired by Witness” is streaming on all 96 music services. It’s a concept album about an evil clergyman who attempted to infiltrate a small Vermont town with the KKK during Prohibition. Listen in order - each song helps tell the story. We’d love if you’d listen and give it some ❤️.

Hey y’all! Here’s a quick clip from our recent release show for the new record, “Songs Inspired by Witness.” This song tells more of the story of Iris Weaver from Karen Hesse’s book Witness. We loved Iris and see her in many of the strong, independent women we know today. Enjoy!
