Amazing Met visit with CUNY Hunter. Got to pass around these objects for close examination as part of a course on medieval reliquaries. Grateful to Professor Cynthia Hahn and C. Griffith Mann, Michel David-Weill Curator in Charge of medieval art at the Met and the Cloisters, for making this happen.

Re-blocking an old knitting project always makes me feel like it’s new. I finished the shawl in 2012 and still get a ton of use out of it. Took me 9 months to finish it (I had 2 kids under 5 at the time). www.ravelry.com/projects/rum...
