Poem on the brief of ‘nature and you’ for toptweettuesday. I’m working on some longer poems at the moment, but couldn’t resist an impromptu, small love letter on the theme.
It would be easier if I wasn’t in love with you, gentle at the slightest hint: a photo, or words, or taste on the conspiring breeze. It would be easier if the very thought of you didn’t make me beautiful, feel beautiful. That calm centering, a reflection, belonging.
