1/2: No Christmas rally as such so far this year. We have a medium-term trend break in the S&P500, as seen in the chart. A strong attempt to find a bottom on Friday (evidenced by the volume) was pushed lower at close.

NVIDIA has clearly come off the boil. Trend break in the negative direction confirmed now. The false break through $150 was the first clue to close out trades. Out algoritmms flagged buy signals at the $125 mark.

Following #gold having come off the boil and global events relieving tension, #silver followed suit. However, it continues to consolidate above the recent broken through resistance line (green line) which was a big trend break go line.

It's up 12.4% this week so far, has a consensus buy rating based on 61 analysts & is selling at a lower PE multiple than #appl & #amzn.

#metals are a bit lackluster but #gold, in this simple chart, shows that it has experienced a trend break. The move would be more related to the Chinese stimulus news overnight as opposed to instability over the collapsed Assad regime.

Another #jobs beat, signifying a strong US #economy. In the meantime, the odds are in favor of a Fed rate cut this month, after which it is expected they will pause. Possibly to wait on what the new policies will bring.
