What this shot didn’t pick up were the millions of tiny bugs that formed the haze. They were above the last drops of moisture the fallow green held back from the desert sun.

It’s soup making day!
Tomorrow is the big ham dinner, so I’ve got three soups planned for Christmas Day: chicken soup, bacon & ham chowder, and a ham & bacon soup.
I found bone broth soups need to sit at least a day for the magic of the flavors to marry.

I’m at Infusion Cafe inside the Olive Mill in Queen Creek, AZ and bought their “Bourbon Barrel” iced coffee! This coffee was aged 8 weeks in a bourbon barrel and it is filled with that bourbon flavor!
