I've "walked the earth" since the 1960s when being "gay" was something few spoke of. So I've seen this develop over time. With many on the "left" decrying the use of endocrine disrupting chemicals. My old reference (circa. 1980s) listed about 80-some known endocrines. By '20 it's over 120.

For precocious puberty - which is horrific for the rare cases of children who suffer with it; including little girls getting pregnant before their 10th birthday (on top of being incestuously raped). The use for "trans" kids (gay kids with anti-gender ideation) only began in the 1990s.

Imagine talking a young female child into a group change and being forced to undress in front of a fully intact male, such as Lia Thomas. Women (esp.) are reasonably pissed off and that is, I believe what pushed Trump to that limping finish. This was too much for many to swallow-the did it silence.

What these folk on the extreme left have missed is that people vote. And they even discussing this brings out charged name calling "you're a bigot". Which is inflammatory and fallacious. But it's bloody effective. It's not about bathrooms, it's about PUBLIC spaces where children might be.

I agree and even at 18, our emotions aren't anywhere near formed. 25 would be more reasonable - by then we're solidified (figuratively and literally). Even 18 was plucked from the air. "Adulthood" used to start at 13 just a few hundred years ago.

Maybe educate yourself a little before talking down to people who might actually know a wee bit more than you do. These people deserve compassion and understanding, they're fuck all wrong with them that needs fixing. THAT is the point. Here's an intro.

There are other ideations, perhaps the best examples include people who believe they are disabled (even though they are not). Cross gender ideation seems to have a root in childhood development of perfectly normal gay people. My best friend was "trans" back in the 1980s.

There is a center ground here and I've heard it from psychologists, psychiatrists and medical doctors - all of who are afraid to speak out because they're LEFT of center but are afraid of the inevitable backlash. *All people deserve unlimited compassion*, not necessarily drugs or affirmation.

Trouble is the puberty blockers (we know now) are causing a multitude of problems in later life.
