Why this is even a story? Member of party leaves and joins another would not even be on the widest of radar scopes if this were, say, a former Lib Dem leaving to join the Greens.

I acquired 18 bottles of wine under exactly the same circumstances. They could come to get it. The delivery company that delivered to the wrong address could come to get it, or the supplier could. Didn’t care who. They all had 28 days. Wasn’t great wine but days 29 to 31 whizzed by.
